Graham Media’s WKMG-TV (Orlando) Too Cowardly to Ban; Resorts to Shadow Banning

I thought something was strange this past week when I wasn’t getting the usual hate mail in response to my comments on the ultra-leftist former Washington Post TV station, WKMG Channel In Orlando. Even more strange, my comments were not generating any votes, up or down.

Screen Shot 2020-09-01 at 4.02.53 PM

I tried an experiment today. I cleared my cache and my cookies and went through stories (“stories” being the operative word in corporate media) where I had left comments. They were not there. I signed back in and scrolled down through the same stories and, sure enough, there they were as if nothing was amiss.

My screen name was Pierre Poutine.

WKMG (named for late Washington Post publisherette Katharine Meyer Graham) uses Viafoura, the heavy-handed liberal censor, as its “moderator.” Viafoura is based in Toronto.

A common theme of my comments has been calling out the overblown corona virus hype. Using their own “case numbers” as well as purported deaths, I often point out that this amounts to a recovery and survival rate of better than 98 (closer to 99) per cent.

When they run stories about those impacted by unemployment, those facing hunger and eviction, I would often point out that perhaps it wasn’t a good idea to shut down the entire state of Florida, the United States, and the world for that matter for a disease with such a low mortality rate.

WKMG is also very sensitive about race. They have deleted comments from myself and others questioning the trend in corporate media to capitalize the “b” in black, while keeping the “w” in white lower case.

They ban the use of the term “gentle giant” when used in the context of the latest murders in The Happiest Place On Earth.

In a damning indictment of Joe Biden, WKMG has even banned directly quoting some of Biden’s more memorable lines. “You ain’t black” and “Are you a junkie?” among other quotes, have been deleted.

When President Trump’s brother Robert died, WKMG kept comments up which cheered the death of Mr. Trump and which lamented that it was the “wrong Trump.”

It is generally WKMG’s practice to put comments up immediately, unless they include a trigger word, and then get around to removing the comments which offend their liberal sensibilities later.

Because of this, it is clear that they remove many comments with a conservative point of view, while keeping liberal comments up no matter how obnoxious.

When WKMG “upgraded” its comment system, it promised that the new system would be a “safe space.”

In a story about rioting across the country, I mentioned, and linked to, a video posted by their “sister” station in Detroit, WDIV. The name of the video was “1975 Detroit Crime Special.” I described how the show chronicled the decline of Detroit from the race riots of 1967 to its airing in 1975. According to the show, by 1970, Detroit was done. WKMG removed the comment.

I have also taken great delight in posting Graham Holding Corporation’s (GHC) stock price updates. It has lost nearly half its value in the past year.

Screen Shot 2020-09-01 at 5.16.45 PM

In a story about McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets (of all things), I noticed at the bottom that the story originated at “CNN Newsource.” I commented, among other things, “”CNN Newsource.” And they wonder why we call them fake news. They actually opened a division that does – guess what? – FAKE NEWS!.”

Screen Shot 2020-09-01 at 4.42.19 PM

The comment was “contend disabled” later in the day. It now shows as if it is still up as usual. However, in reality, the comment was removed later that day.

WKMG is particularly sensitive about “fake news” and being accused of liberal bias. When conservatives post comments, WKMG tends to allow ad-hominem liberal attacks to remain up while similar conservative comments would be removed.

I have often commented what WKMG and corporate media in general plan to do once President Trump is re-elected and their advertisers finally conclude that if these companies can’t even tell us whom to vote for and what public positions to take, how can they possibly sell us their prescription drugs, hamburgers, shoes, cars, etc.

WKMG has ben just as hostile to President Trump as the rest of corporate media when it comes to Hydroxychloroquine. I often point out a nearly-seven decade old off-patent and cheaply available drug does not buy two minute ad blocks and shower media with billions of dollars annually. Of course, such comments are routinely “disabled.”

I know you're lying

As the “COVID” hoax continues to fall apart and the media sees its credibility crumbling (even more so than before), and as President Trump threatens to not only be re-elected, but to have his Trifecta returned thanks to Trump Democrats, the legacy liberal media is increasingly desperate and will discredit, ridicule, lie and outright censor opposing opinions.

It is clear that WKMG is only running a comment site for the purpose of having its liberal bias validated.

With a population of over 2-million, Orlando’s broadcast television stations all have dismal viewership. However, WKMG is consistently the most dismal when it comes to its 6am and 6pm newscasts. A measly 11,000 people regularly tune into its morning newscast, while even fewer, 8,400 tune in for the evening news. This is less than half of its number one competitors. Obviously, Orlandoans have a distinct distaste for corporate media’s presstitutes and whorespondents, and even more so for Channel 6.

Screen Shot 2020-09-01 at 5.04.25 PM

With all corporate media continuing full-steam-ahead with the COVID hoax and having anchors and reporters perform their shows from their living rooms in the name of “social distancing,” it is unlikely their credibility or their ratings  are going to improve any time soon.

Associated Press admits “light” and “disinfectant” DO WORK to combat the Corona Virus

Subways sparkle, but does cleaning decrease COVID-19 risk?

Screen Shot 2020-07-14 at 11.47.10 AM

Mass transit systems around the world have taken unprecedented — and expensive — steps to curb the spread of the coronavirus, including New York shutting down its subways overnight and testing powerful ultraviolet lamps to disinfect seats, poles and floors.

The cleaning measures produced something commuters have not seen in a while, or possibly ever: thousands of freshly scrubbed cars that look, feel and even smell clean. But experts say those steps solve only part of the problem, and transit officials are studying more advanced methods that might someday automatically disinfect transit systems around the clock.

The Moscow Metro and a public bus company in Shanghai have experimented with germ-killing ultraviolet light. Agencies in Hungary and the Czech Republic have tried using ozone gas as a disinfectant. The public transit system in Dallas tested a “dry fogging” system, and Hong Kong used a robot that sprays a hydrogen peroxide solution, according to a survey by international engineering and professional services firm WSP.

In Chicago, rail cars are cleaned every day before starting service and are prowled at night by crews wearing backpack-style electrostatic sprayers that cover all interior surfaces with disinfectant.

Man in famous 9/11 photo dies from COVID-19 in Florida

DELRAY BEACH, Fla. – A man photographed fleeing smoke and debris as the south tower of the World Trade Center crumbled just a block away on Sept. 11, 2001, has died from coronavirus, his family said.

The Palm Beach Post reported that Stephen Cooper, an electrical engineer from New York who lived part-time in the Delray Beach, Florida area, died March 28 at Delray Medical Center due to COVID-19. He was 78.

The censor took issue with:

“Stephen Cooper, an electrical engineer from New York who lived part-time in the Delray Beach, Florida area, died March 28 at Delray Medical Center due to COVID-19. He was 78.”

Well, first of all he was 78.

Secondly, the idol of the left, The Guardian, has reported over 10,000 people (many of them firemen and police officers) became sick from exposure to the asbestos and other toxic substances that came. pouring down in Manhattan on September 11, 2001. Over 1,000 have died.

Corporate media reported Annie Glenn, widow of astronaut and Keating Five senator John Glenn, died at the age of 101 “of Corona Virus.” I mean…come on…really?

This is merely following the CDC’s own “guidelines” to report every person who dies with the Corona Virus, Influenza or Pneumonia inside their body as dying OF that disease.

A lot of people are going to be unhappy when the cops up in Minneapolis are acquitted when the medical examiner reports George Floyd died of COVID.

Sanford, Florida: Gentle Giant, 17, Slain Whilst Car Shopping In Homeowner’s Gated Driveway

Letters To The Beast brings more terrible, sad, tragic news of the passing of yet another Gentle Giant. Seventeen-year-old Adrien Green was cut down in his prime on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 in Sanford, Florida. Green was minding his own business, merely attempting to break into a car and retrieve articles he really, really, really wanted. The car was parked inside the gates of a home on Garrison Drive.

While most comments on Orlando’s WKMG Channel 6 were supportive of the homeowner, one commenter, Kinkyjinx took umbrage: Reply to @Jack Hammer: and you are what is wrong with this society. Applauding a childs death when you don’t even know a thing about him and just assuming he is a low-life. This kid was the HS quarterback, bet you didn’t care to even know a thing about him. He is someone’s child. And NOBODY deserves to die over something so stupid as trying to steal a car, that is not a death sentence. Hopefully, someone shoots you in the back.

Your humble correspondent’s attempt to correct Kinkyjinx was memory-holed by WKMG: Reply to @Kinkyjinkx: A 17 year old is not a child. Next thing, you’ll be telling us this Gentle Giant was only looking for a bag of Skittles.

BTW, Welcome to Florida. Messing with someone else or his property IS a death sentence. This ain’t New York.

WKMG, and its censor Viafoura, who also provide memory holing for the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, took exception to your correspondent’s attempt to eulogize Mr. Green: Another Gentle Giant.

Having been unable to contact Mr. Green’s mother or father, WKMG quoted his great aunt. Lillian Wright as saying, “We just want right done, justice done, and we will seem (sic) that justice will be done. We need justice on this case because we feel it. Our family was in an uproar this morning — 17 years old,”

It is unknown whether Mr. Green may have been a recent arrival from New York, Chicago, California or some other place where criminals are encouraged to ply their trade while property owners can only watch, lest they be incarcerated instead.

It is also unclear whether the home is owned by George Zimmerman.

Letters To The Beast reminds all young members of the criminal community that committing violent crimes against people and engaging in acts of theft, or even attempting to do so (as in young Mr. Green’s case), is ill-advised in Florida. Or any other Southern state for that matter.

Letters To The Beast will supply any pictures of Mr. Green in sports garb, or of himself when he was 12, as they become available.

Sanford man fatally shoots 17-year-old during burglary attempt in possible stand your ground case, officials say

Case has been turned over to Seminole County State Attorney’s Office

The Sanford Police Department and Seminole County State Attorney’s Office are investigating the deadly shooting of a 17-year-old burglary suspect Tuesday.

Sanford Police Chief Cecil Smith addressed members of the media Tuesday afternoon to explain the details of the early morning incident. He said the teen, identified as Adrein Green, was burglarizing cars on the driveway of a gated home on Garrison Drive around 1:12 a.m. when the homeowner opened fire from his front door.

Smith played the 911 calls during the news conference during which the homeowner explains his wife woke him up as she was feeding their infant and heard noises outside of their residence. The caller tells dispatch he believed someone was breaking into his home and grabbed his firearm when he went to investigate.

“(The) man indicated that he was in fear of his life but mostly for his newborn child and his wife who were in the home,” (Seminole County Assistant State Attorney Dan) Faggard said. “We have to find there is probable cause to believe that the individual did not act in self-defense or justifiably. That’s a very high standard. Currently, we’re not able to make that determination and therefore he was not arrested this morning.”

Smith said officers found a large rock and a car battery near the passenger side of the homeowner’s vehicle. He explained marks on windows and the side of the vehicle are indicative of someone attempting to break in. Smith says this evidence leads officers to believe Green had intended to burglarize the vehicle.

Associated Press Bullshit: Michigan militia puts armed protest in the spotlight

Analysis by Letters To The Beast

Michigan militia puts armed protest in the spotlight

Gun-carrying protesters have been a common sight at some demonstrations calling for coronavirus-related restrictions to be lifted. But an armed militia’s involvement in an angry protest in the Michigan statehouse Thursday marked an escalation that drew condemnation and shone a spotlight on the practice of bringing weapons to protest.

The “American Patriot Rally” started on the statehouse steps, where members of the Michigan Liberty Militia stood guard with weapons and tactical gear, their faces partially covered. They later moved inside the Capitol along with several hundred protesters, who demanded to be let onto the House floor, which is prohibited. Some protesters with guns — which are allowed in the statehouse — went to the Senate gallery, where a senator said some armed men shouted at her, and some senators wore bulletproof vests.

“Their faces partially covered.” Yeah, we call those “masks.” You know the things that corporate media has been shaming, bullying and outright forcing many people into wearing? The things that “Doctor” Scarf Lady have been telling us how to make? Clicking on the link details how protesters were allowed into the capitol buildings with their guns, and screen by state police in the process. It also details how masks were required by law. So, in the process of “partially covering their faces,” the protesters were complying with Michigan law, ill-advised as it may be.

For some observers, the images of armed men in tactical gear at a state Capitol were an unsettling symbol of rising tensions in a nation grappling with crisis. Others saw evidence of racial bias in the way the protesters were treated by police.

Those “observers” would be the liberal corporate news media who go into a full blown panic when power is threatened or in any way challenged.

For some politicians, there was fresh evidence of the risk of aligning with a movement with clear ties to far-right groups.

Prominent Michigan Republicans on Friday criticized the showing, with the GOP leader of the state Senate referring to some protesters as “a bunch of jackasses” who “used intimidation and the threat of physical harm to stir up fear and feed rancor.”

Regardless of philosophy, nothing unites politicians more than the spectacle of their club being invaded by the peasants demanding redress of their grievances. While the “prominent Republicans” are not named, conservative Americans’ exasperation with RINOs is what got Donald Trump nominated, then elected, in the first place.

For decades, corporate media has tried to shame conservatives into going along with liberal policies by quoting support from the likes of John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Paul Ryan, Mitt Romney, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Marco Rubio, John Boehner, and other completely useless RINOs masquerading as conservative Republicans.

President Donald Trump, who has been criticized in the past for condoning extremist views, called the protesters “very good people” and urged Democratic Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to “make a deal.”

A stealth attempt at race baiting here. But keep reading. It gets better.

Michigan has been the epicenter of the political showdown over how to contain the spread of the deadly virus without decimating the economy. About a quarter of the state’s workforce has filed for unemployment and nearly 4,000 people have died.

The Centers for Disease Control Company has instructed hospitals to state “COVID-19” as cause of death even for people that died WITH the virus, not of it. A person who clearly died after suffering heart attack or a catastrophic injuries sustained in a car wreck didn’t actually die of those injuries. No. Now, he or shoe died of “COVID-19.” The hospital now gets $13,000 from the federal government and the hospital bills are covered as well.

Rally organizer Ryan Kelley said the event was intended to pressure Republicans to reject Whitmer’s plan to continue restrictions on work and travel. He called the protest a “huge win,” noting the Republican-controlled Senate refused to extend Whitmer’s coronavirus emergency declaration — though she said Friday her stay-at-home order remains in effect.

So those Republicans, whom the typist praised just a few paragraphs earlier, rejected the Governor’s efforts nonetheless. And the governor is now clearly acting outside the law.

Kelley, a 38-year-old real estate broker, said he and other organizers are not part of a formal group but represent people who have been harmed by the stay-home order. He said he invited the Michigan Liberty Militia, which is listed as an anti-government group by the Southern Poverty Law Center, to serve as “security.” He suggested anyone who had a problem with their presence should read the Constitution and “live life without fear.”

Now we’re getting to the good part. A growing mass movement of people coming together because of government tyranny. People that, unlike leftists, were too busy working at their jobs in the past. Until governmentS (plural) pulled the rug out from underneath them.

And now, as if on cue, bring in the disgraced and discredited “Southern Poverty Law Center,” a liberal law firm founded by former Klan lawyer and George Wallace campaign worker Morris Dees.

Morris Dees – Wikipedia

Southern Poverty Law Center is a scam, not an arbiter of justice

The Unlabelling of an ‘Anti-Muslim Extremist’; The Southern Poverty Law Center misstepped by including Maajid Nawaz on a 2016 list. But in trying to correct that mistake, it just made a new one.

Dees, of course, was fired by the SPLC for racism and sexual harassment.

Gun-carrying protesters outside state capitols are a regular occurrence in many states, especially in Republican-leaning ones. But rarely do such protests converge at the same time around the country like they have during the coronavirus pandemic.

Let’s take this one-by-one. If “gun-carrying protesters outside state capitols are a regular occurrence…” Then, what’s the problem? And if these are a “regular occurrence in many states, especially in Republican-leaning ones..” Then there must be many states which are Republican leaning. And if protests are occurring in them, many of us must be governed against our will and our consent.”

“But rarely do such protests converge at the same time around the country like they have during the coronavirus pandemic.” It’s amazing how throwing tens of millions of people out of work based on questionable medical advice which has proved to be wrong, presuming to strip us of our God-given rights, ordering us locked down in our homes, making us endure a failed unemployment system where NOBODY is getting paid will cause some people to start having bad thoughts about our ruling masters.

In Wisconsin, about a dozen men, several wearing camouflage, carried what appeared to be assault rifles and other long guns and stood around a makeshift guillotine at a protest attended by about 1,500 people. In Arizona, a group of men armed with rifles were among hundreds of protesters who demonstrated at the Capitol last month demanding Republican Gov. Doug Ducey lift his stay-home order. Many in the crowd also carried holstered pistols.

Oooh. They were wearing scary cloths. And they, maybe, might have been carrying what sort of looks like, (SCREAM!) “ASSAULT RIFLES and other long guns…” Then again, they could have all been carrying Markmen .177s and Daisys.

“…stood around a makeshift guillotine at a protest attended by about 1,500 people” So…this wasn’t a REAL guillotine? It didn’t actually REALLY cut anybody’s head off? So if Marie Antoinette were standing nearby, perhaps eating $20-a-pint gourmet ice cream out of a $40,000 freezer, she would be safe?

How about leftist protests where they “appear to be burning” conservative public figures? Do you get as worked up about that, A.P.? How about Anti-F.A. protesters – wearing masks of course – swinging what appear to be bike locks and smashing what appear to be store windows and looting what appears to be merchandise and attacking what appear to be elderly people? What’s your take on that, Corporate Media?

Gun groups have been involved in organizing several of these protests — which drew activists from a range of conservative causes. Gun rights advocates believe the restrictions on some businesses and closure of government offices are a threat to their right to own a gun, said Michael Hammond, legislative counsel for Gun Owners of America, a group that bills itself as the “no compromise” gun lobby.

Hammond said he routinely gets messages and emails from people around the country, complaining that authorities are making it impossible to exercise their Second Amendment rights. In some cases, that has meant orders closing gun shops or gun ranges or offices shutting down that process permits.

Well, if the gun stores and pawn shops are being ordered closed, and offices where state background checks and permitting are required (which, thank heavens, doesn’t include us here in Florida), and the act of buying weapons and ammunition legally is made impossible because those stores and offices are deemed “non-essential,” that does present a problem, doesn’t it?

But Shannon Watts, the founder of Moms Demand Action, a gun-control group, considers these protests organized by the ultra-right and not necessarily reflective of most gun owners.

Your humble correspondent was wondering when they were going to get around to telling us what Michael Bloomberg thought. Notice how the typist refers to these protests as “ultra-right,” though an opposing label (ie “far-left,” “ultra-left” or “alt-left”) has never been applied by corporate media to the myriad of protests since Donald Trump became President.

While it’s legal to openly carry firearms inside some state capitols, Watts called it “dangerous to normalize this.

As the government crack down on us continues, get used to it honey. It’s only going to get worse (for your side) from here on in.

Armed intimidation has no place in our political debate.”

What do you call your police enforcers?

She said those carrying guns at protests are almost always white men, and are “a vocal minority of the country” that opposes the stay-at-home orders.

Ohh, not only wearing scary clothes, they were WHITE, too.  And, of course, this is just a MINORITY of gun owners. The rest of you are good, reasonable, compromising people. You go along with what we say. It’s just a few of you kooks. Some of our best friends are gun owners!

Alt Right Group Holds Rally In Portland, Oregon

An overwhelming majority of Americans support stay-at-home orders and other efforts to slow the spread of the virus, according to a recent survey from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.

In other polling news, Hillary Clinton has a 98 per cent chance of being elected President on November 8, 2016. Liberal polling firms paid by liberal media push-polling liberal respondents are certain of it.

The visual of heavily armed protesters, mostly white men, occupying a government building to a measured response by law enforcement is a particularly jarring one for many African Americans.

As we didn’t get the point earlier, it’s those pesky white folk again. The protesters got off easy because the Michigan State Police didn’t kill everybody in sight.

But now, here comes the good part. “particularly jarring…for many African Americans.” (No mention, of course, of how it appeared to Americans born in the United States.”

It draws a stark contrast to the images that emerged from Ferguson, Missouri, in 2014, when crowds of unarmed, mostly black men, women and children took to the streets in protest after a white police officer shot and killed an unarmed black teenager named Michael Brown. Then, National Guardsmen mounted on military vehicles shot tear gas indiscriminately to disperse the crowds, further flaring tensions between the predominantly black community and law enforcement.

Oh, look. They brought the gentle giant who was mowed down whilst his hands were up back to life.  Were the National Guard and Missouri state police before or after the locals attacked other people, burned down homes, business, cars, smashed windows and broke into homes and businesses and looted everything in sight?

“Systemically, blackness is treated like a more dangerous weapon than a white man’s gun ever will, while whiteness is the greatest shield of safety,” said Brittany Packnett, a prominent national activist who protested in Ferguson.

Had the militia protesters in Michigan behaved the way the “hands up” rioters in Missouri did, the response from the Michigan State Police likely would not have been as “measured.”

The Michigan demonstrators, she added, “are what happens when people of racial privilege confuse oppression with inconvenience. No one is treading on their rights. We’re all just trying to live.”

No, honey. The Michigan demonstrations are what happens when good people gather together peacefully to demand redress of their grievances, make their statements, and then leave and go home. Had the protesters been black, or any other race, the result would not have been any different. The A.P. typists failed to mention if any of the Michigan State Police officers were black.

Of course, it’s equally possible that the very presence of guns amongst the Michigan, Wisconsin and Arizona protesters is what helped keep them safe from a police riot in the first place.

Trump, meanwhile, suggested it was Whitmer who should be moved to action.

“The Governor of Michigan should give a little, and put out the fire,” the president tweeted Friday. “These are very good people, but they are angry. They want their lives back again, safely! See them, talk to them, make a deal.”

Whitmer should take the advice of another Democrat…

In reading the Associated Press’s tale of the Michigan Protests, one might almost get the idea the Michigan State Police weren’t ready to kick off a civil war with the American people, by whom police are outnumbered 300 to 1.  They probably decided, since everybody was behaving themselves and acting within the law, better to save that honor for California, Illinois or New York.

Associated Press reporters David Eggert and Mike Householder in Lansing, Michigan, Lisa Marie Pane in Boise, Idaho, Aaron Morrison in New York and Thomas Beaumont in Des Moines contributed to this report.

Hey, guys. If I were you, I would have posted this story anonymously.  “By A.P. Staff”monticellostore_2272_73748774__81749.1528315664

A word to our ruling masters: If we all got back to work, those of us who actually do the work wouldn’t have the time nor the inclination to go out and protest the loss of our livelihoods. Maybe government throwing millions of us out of work wasn’t exactly the wisest course of action. Especially when we own hundreds of millions of guns.

FLORIDA: Government throws millions of people out of work, spends millions of dollars on failed Unemployment Compensation system

The Orlando region, as with the rest of Florida, is dependent on tourism dollars. Sea World, Universal Studios, Walt Disney World, the smaller parks, the hotels, the restaurants, the tour bus companies, the bars, the restaurants, the Uber drivers have all been decimated by the Lockdown / Crackdown on the American people. The minimum wage workers upon whose backs Orlando is built upon have been wiped out.

Florida’s bare-bones unemployment compensation system was never really a problem because there was ALWAYS a job to be found somewhere.

In the past six weeks, since all levels of government, from cities and counties to the District of Criminals, conspired to shut down the economy and pull the rug out from tens of millions of workers across the country, the state of Florida’s “Re-employment Assistance” website, connect.myflorida, com has melted down and has yet to come back to life. And in a stroke of absolute genius, going on-line is the only way to apply for benefits. And once workers are in the system, they must continue going on line every two weeks to “request payment.

From WKMG-TV, Orlando

So, rather than give the all-clear, put millions of Floridans back to work and get things back to normal, the state’s response has been to spend over $100-million to expand its website and its call center.

Two weeks ago, the state announced it had spent $25-million to expand the number of servers. This would increase the site’s capacity from 60,000 simultaneous connections to 120,000. Apparently, nobody in Tallahassee has ever heard of Amazon Web Service.

WKMG reported:

Most applicants reported a better experience and for the first time were able to file for unemployment using the new site last week.

The recent spending is more than twice what it cost in 2013 to create the DEO’s online reemployment assistance system, known as CONNECT. It cost $63 million to create the system under former Gov. Rick Scott’s administration, records show.

As of 4pm on Monday, April 13, 2020, a user attempting to access and entering his credentials, received a “run time error” script, after about five minutes.

While Orlando wages have remained stagnant for many workers (the minimum wage is less than $9 per hour and many workers – even skilled workers – are lucky to make $15, rents have exploded over the past three years. April 1 came and went with many workers unable to meet their rent obligations. And May 1 is just around the corner. While homeowners are being afforded the opportunity to defer their payments, at some point renters will have to make up those missed payments in short order.

Orange County, where Orlando resides, set up a program to “assist” 1,500 residents with their rental obligations. The county was overwhelmed with over 26,000 pleas for help before it pulled the plug.

Jerry Demings is the husband of Orlando congress woman Valdez “Val” Demings (D) FL-10. So far Congress woman Demings has been silent regarding the government-mandated economic devastation of her constituents.

Government at all levels, both Democrat and Republican, would do well to put a stop to this, let people get back to work and let the chips fall where they may.

Whether government is deliberately using the China Virus as a means of finding out just how much we are willing to take is unclear. However bureaucrats and politicians, particularly those in the free and non-infringed states, would be well advised to back off. Now. Before the law of unintended consequences hits them hard.

Peoples’ lives are at stake. This is NOT a cartoon.

While Orlando Congress Critter Valdez (Val) Demings was performing her impeachment hoax, President Trump was being distracted from the newly-formed Wuhan Virus

The economy of Orlando, Florida, as the rest of the United States and much of the world, has been devastated. The hundreds of thousands of low-wage – mostly minimum-wage – workers upon whose backs this city was built upon are out of work.

We can thank, in part, Val Demings, (D-FL-10), Orlando’s congress critter who was returned to the District of Criminals by default in 2018 because the Republicans couldn’t even bother fielding a candidate.

Trump Impeachment

Demings, not to be confused with her uglier, older sister Maxine Waters…

Wells Fargo CEO Tim Sloan Testifies Before House Financial Services Committee

…has made a good life for herself. A former Orlando police worker, she rose through the ranks to become chief of police. While on the job, she met Jerry Demings, an Orange County sheriff’s deputy. They got hitched. Val got elected to congress. Jerry was elected sheriff, and eventually mayor of Orange County, which encompasses Orlando. Despite those middle-class roots, the Demings have managed to build up a $5-million fortune since Val went to Congress.

The State of Florida has a less-than-minimal unemployment compensation system. It pays $275 per week for up to 12 weeks. Until now, it really wasn’t needed. There was ALWAYS a job to be had in Florida. Even if it involved working at a McDonald’s or a Stop n Rob. All that changed last month. In Orlando, there are literally NO jobs. The streets are deserted. Even Uber was dead.

Last week, your humble correspondent called Val’s office in the District of Criminals and gave the fart-catcher who answered her phone what-for. I reminded him that Demings, as a member of the impeachment committee, was part of the prosecution against President Trump. I reminded him that while she was busy with her impeachment hoax, President Trump was distracted from, among other things, the virus which was then breaking out in China.

I told him, “I don’t care if we’re living under a bridge in November, there is no way in hell my wife or I would ever vote for Democrat.”

The fart-catcher said, “I have no comment to make. I will pass that along to the congress critter woman.

Not content with that effort to make my voice known, I wrote a letter using the only means available to the average public: the web form. Congress critters do not public their e-mails or fax numbers. You can drop a letter in the mail if you want.

Dear Mrs. Demings:

While the China Flu was just breaking out in Wuhan last Fall, President Trump was being distracted by your impeachment hoax.

My wife and are as working class as they come. We own our own home on America Street. My wife works at one of the larger theme parks in town. Until two weeks ago, I drove a bus.

I want you to know that, for this among many other reason, there is no way in hell either of us would ever vote for you or any other Democrat. I don’t care if we’re both living under the 408 come next November, President Trump can count on our support NO MATTER WHAT.

This was done TO US . This is not an economic circumstance. This is economic sabotage.

And while the Republicans were trying to get a disaster relief bill through congress as quickly as possible, you people were busy loading it up with Democrats’ nocturnal emissions like same-day voter registration. You piled on crap that has nothing to do with the current emergency. Money for the Kennedy Center. Yeah, that’s what we’re really worried about right now.

We have an unprecedented, catastrophic economic emergency here in Orlando. Hundreds of thousands of people have been thrown out of work in our city ALONE. Millions across the country. And why is the Democrats top priority? Illegal aliens. Airplane emissions. The Post Office. And, of course, pork. Lots and lots and lots of pork.

Most of us don’t have millions of dollars in unexplained wealth built up over the past four years that we can fall back on. Myself, I had just left a lower paying job for a much higher paying one in January when the rug got pulled out from underneath me on March 15.

I was watching the senate vote live last week when your party voted against US. Hours later, Nancy “I want my crumbs back” Pelosi came out with her 1,400 page bill. How long does it take to write 1,400 pages anyway? I can only imagine what would have been in those hundreds of pages, but I suppose you would have had to pass it before we could find out.

My wife and I are absolutely disgusted with you and your criminal, corrupt Democrat party. For everything you have tried to do for the past four years, I can only hope that, when President Trump is re-elected in November with a landslide, and the Republicans see similarly impressive results in the House and Senate, he appoints an Attorney General with the courage to go after your party under RICO. The stench is truly that bad.

And, Biden? You’ve got to friggin’ kidding us.

In closing, you have managed to do what nobody would have thought possible. You have destroyed the economy of Central Florida. You have put hundreds of thousands of low-wage workers out of work, to the point where even McDonalds isn’t hiring.

You must be very proud of yourself.

Enjoy your millions.

Well, it would appear our congress crooks don’t give a shit what we think, because when I clicked on “submit:”

Demings and her fellow corrupt members of congress (Democrat, Republican and Miscellaneous) may be secure in the knowledge that voters will never rise up against their criminality, theft, extortion, insider training and other on-the-job misdeeds. Unfortunately – for them – they are making a tactical error. Government has ordered tens of millions of people OFF THE JOB. People who have a lot of time on their hands.

As John F. Kennedy (R.I.P.) once observed…

President Kennedy Peaceful Revolution

You know, Val, you guys are making things pretty goddamned hard to do things the easy way.

Cox Media Bullshit: Graphs predict Florida is a month away from peak of COVID-19

Isn’t that impressive? They have graphs. And computers. And models. Big, pretty, colorful ones. They come out of big machines. They are held up by men wearing white coats over suits and ties. Are you gushing with admiration yet?

Graphs predict Florida is a month away from peak of COVID-19

Researchers from the University of Washington’s Institute for Health Metrics created graphs showing how COVID-19 or the coronavirus is projected to impact every U.S. state and Florida is expected to become the next epicenter, behind New York, but is not expected to peak until May 6.

The model shows the timing of deaths and what resources are available in each state.

Based on data from the World Health Organization (WHO) websites and local and national governments the graphs show Florida is expected to see 136 deaths per day between May 3 and May 6, then the fatalities will trend down to near zero by June 29.

The estimated number of deaths by August 4, 2020 is 5.568 for Florida.

Researchers estimate that the state will be short 297 ICU hospital beds at the peak of the outbreak and will possibly need more than 3,000 ventilators during that time.

Okay, so…lemme get this straight. By August 4, 2020, the crystal ball over at that bastion of higher learning, the University of Washington, says that 5,568 people will have died of the Kung Flu in Florida alone.

If true…let’s see here…population of Florida…ahh, dammit! Hey, Google! What is the population of Florida?

Twenty one point three million. Okay, thanks, Google. So, 5,568 people. Divided by 21,300,000. Now, uh, carry, the two…0.002614085.

So, you’re telling me, these bastards in the city halls, county sheriffs departments, Tallahassee and the District of Criminals have shut down the entire economy of Florida, thrown millions of people out of work – most of them being the least able to afford it – closed the bars, restaurants, stores, hotels, restaurants, buses, beaches, theme parks, schools and pretty much anywhere two people might gather and engage in commerce

Perhaps the University of Washington, Cox Media or some other beacon of investigative journalism could determine how the owners of Walt Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World (respectively, the Walt Disney Company, Comcast and Anheuser-Busch) consented to simply closing down their parks, indefinitely, no questions asked.

What kind of bailout candy did a congress critter or senator sneak into those-nearly 900 pages which made the companies not only so compliant to the government, but – in the case of Disney and Universal – so generous as to continue paying their staff (part time and full time) for the duration of the closure?

Wealthy newlyweds who hold their nuptials at Walt Disney World in Orlando can expect to spend to pay over $180,000 to rent the Magic Kingdom park for four hours, after the park has closed. Yet Disney is closing EVERYTHING. All the parks. The Magic Kingdom. EPCOT Center, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, the DOZENS of hotels located within its 25,000-acre compound. Disney Springs, the commercial tourist trap.

Universal Orlando Resort isn’t quite as big as Disney, but it is a sizable operation nonetheless.

We are to believe these companies simply shut the parks down because they are good citizens? Really?

The longer this martial law lockdown (in everything but name) carries on, the closer and closer this powder keg gets to exploding.

In Florida, the only way to apply for unemployment compensation is to go to their website and jump through numerous hoops. And, yesterday, that site went down with no realistic prospects for recovery.

And, as financial commentator Gerald Celente often says…

This has absolutely nothing to do with a virus or public health, and everything to do with internationally co-ordinated state crackdowns USING the China virus as the premise.

The fact that we have gone along with it this far without resistance is terrifying. Just imagine how much government will tighten the screws in the near future.

CBC Bullshit: New CBSA numbers show dramatic plunge in Canada-U.S. travel amid pandemic restrictions

The governments of Canada and the United States have jointly restricted access to each others’ country. In a journalistic level of intrepidity worthy of Pulitzer Prize, Canada’s state broadcaster has discovered that cross border traffic is…wait for it…drumroll…way…DOWN!

Yes, you heard that right! With traffic being restricted to commercial truckers, cross-border commuters, and “essential” traffic, the line-ups at the border are…DOWN!

New CBSA numbers show dramatic plunge in Canada-U.S. travel amid pandemic restrictions

Captain Obvious

Congratulations Hill & Knowlton, the Central Intelligence Agency and the broader U.S. government on the 29th anniversary of “Babies and Incubators.

This article was originally published by LettersToTheBeast on October 9, 2015.

On October 10, 1990, a 15-year-old girl, then identified only as “Nayirah,” gave tearful testimony before the U.S. Congress  She gave tearful testimony about how, during the Iraqi occupation of Kuwait, she had witnessed Iraqi soldiers storming the maternity ward at the hospital in which she claimed to be a volunteer. According to her tale, the soldiers removed babies from the incubators and left them on the “cold floor”  (this is Kuwait, not Canada, keep in mind) to die. The Iraqi soldiers then supposedly removed the incubators. Presumably, taking them back to Iraq. It was a performance worthy of an Academy Award.

15-year-old war criminal Nayirah al-Sabah gives testimony before the U.S. Congress on October 10, 1990 about purported brutality by Iraqi troops, including killings of babies and theft of incubators from Kuwaiti hospitals.
15-year-old war criminal Nayirah al-Sabah gives testimony before the U.S. Congress on October 10, 1990 about purported brutality by Iraqi troops, including killings of babies and theft of incubators from Kuwaiti hospitals.

The tale took on a life of its own. It was repeated by other Kuwaiti officials. All of whom claimed to have personally witnessed exactly what this girl Nayirah witnessed.

The American public was outraged. As were people around the world. The brutality of the Saddam Hussein regime must be stopped at all cost. And the only way to accomplish that was for all free countries around the world (conveniently named “the allies” or “the coalition”), led by the United States, of course, to storm into Kuwait and re-take the place.

It was all a lie. “Nayirah” was, in fact, Nayirah al-Sabah, whose dad was the Kuwaiti ambassador to the United States and Canada. Her entire story was concocted by public relations firm Hill and Knowlton and its creation, “Citizens for a Free Kuwait.” Citizens for a Free Kuwait was a rather strange-sounding name as Kuwait was not free before the then-sanctioned U.S. occupation (see April Glaspie), was not free during the occupation, and there was certainly no suggestion it would be free after a successful “liberation.”

Wikipedia (Nayirah al-Sabah)

The lead-up to al-Sabah’s testimony on October 10, 1990 goes back at least one-and-a-half months. On September 2, 1990, Kuwait’s U.N. Representative, Mohammad A. Abulhasan, wrote to Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar, alleging brutality on the part of Iraqi troops as well as theft of state assets and hospital equipment, including incubators.

On September 5, the Kuwaiti health minister, Abdul Wahab Al-Fowzan, made similar allegations.

On September 9, National Public Radio claimed Iraqi solders had stormed a ward for premature infants, turned off the oxygen and removed the incubators.

On September 17, Edward Gnelm, the United States ambassador-designate to Kuwait (keep in mind, April Glaspie had been fired by this time) claimed 22 babies had died when Iraqi solders stole their incubators.

The Washington Post, which had previously reported it was unable to verify such claims, published a story on September 25 which accused Iraqi soldiers of removing babies and “stripping hospitals of incubators.”

Kuwait’s Emir, Sheik Jabbar al Ahmed al Sabah, complained to President George Herbert Walker Daddy Bush about stolen incubators, murders of babies and other Iraqi atrocities on September 29, 1990,

In its September 30, 1990 edition, U.S. News and World Report reported on the shocking brutality of Iraqi troops in Kuwait, including the removal of babies from incubators, leaving those babies to die of exposure (again, Kuwait), and the relocation of those incubators to Iraq.

On October 9, 1990, the day before Nayirah’s Big Day, President Bush stated at a news conference, “I thought General Scowcroft put it very well after the Amir left here. And I am very much concerned, not just about the physical dismantling but of the brutality that has now been written on by Amnesty International confirming some of the tales told us by the Amir of brutality. It’s just unbelievable, some of the things at least he reflected. I mean, people on a dialysis machine cut off, the machine sent to Baghdad; babies in incubators heaved out of the incubators and the incubators themselves sent to Baghdad. Now, I don’t know how many of these tales can be authenticated, but I do know that when the Amir was here he was speaking from the heart. And after that came Amnesty International, who were debriefing many of the people at the border. And it’s sickening.

To his credit, at least Bush referred to those claims as “tales.”

The rest, as they say, is history. The Fifth Estate, a weekly documentary program produced by the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, exposed this hoax a December, 1992 broadcast, “To Sell A War”

Of course, we have been lied to many, many times since then. “Saddam’s Nukular Bombs” probably ranks even higher in notoriety than Nayirah’s tale for one basic reason: the claims were related to us by people who ought to have known better. Governments (chiefly the one located in the District of Criminals) are still lying to us. But the success rates of their various acts of deception are questionable. In 1990, we didn’t have a commercially-available internet. We didn’t have the means of independently verifying every single fact presented before us. We didn’t have a YouTube, which allowed public officials making outlandish claims to be exposed as habitual liars.

Newspapers and broadcast media organizations didn’t have comment sections. And now, they probably wish they didn’t. As commenters often use their own websites to call out Big Media lies.

Even in the lead up to Iraq II in 2003, the internet was still a relatively new novelty. Many of us had it, but we were mostly on dial-up. And most of those dial-up portals were controlled by America-On-Line. If you could get past the busy signal in the first place. So of course, in 2003, we bought “Weapons of Mass Destruction.” Hook. Line. And sinker.

Millions of people around the world have died because of Big Lies since Nayirah told her sorrowful tale 25 years ago. Bosnia. Serbia. Somalia. Sudan. Yemen. Afghanistan. Mali (yes, they even invaded Timbuktu). Libya. Syria. And occupied Palestine, whenever israel throws a temper tantrum. Thankfully, the brakes have been put on any thought of invading Iran. And the good people of Iran probably have their neighbours in Iraq to thank for their double-sacrifice in 1990 and 2003.

Wesley Clark
General Wesley Clark (retired): “This is a memo that describes how we’re going to take out seven countries in five years, starting with Iraq, and then Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and, finishing off, Iran.”

General Clark’s comments as reported by And his broadcast remarks on Democracy Now (YouTube).

As our good israeli friends are fond of saying. “Never forget.” And “never again.”

Updated October 2, 2019

On October 21, 2019 a general election will be taking place in Canada. LettersToTheBeast is pleased to announce our good friend, Rob Nicholson, who served as Minister of the Police State in the Harper regime, has decided to spend more time with his family. Running to replace Rob as the Conservative (In Name Only- LTB) is some guy named Tony Baldinelli. As your humble correspondent is an absentee voter in this district, his bio was of some interest to me. It reads as the usual never-had-a-job, political fart catcher looking to hit the big time nonsense.

But it turns out Tony did have a job. He worked for Hill and Knowlton.

He started his career in 1988 when he moved to Ottawa to work for the newly elected MP Rob Nicholson, where he remained for 5 years. He worked as Legislative Assistant and later as Senior Constituency Assistant. After his time in Ottawa, he took a job at Queens Park working for the Ministry of Citizenship, Culture, and Recreation as a Policy Assistant for the Minister’s legislative agenda. In total he stayed at Queen’s Park for 2 years from 1995 to 1997. He moved to the private sector to work for Hill and Knowlton Strategies where he served for four years as Public Relations, Public Affairs and Community Relations Specialist.

So, congratulations, Tony. I’m sure nearly three decades later, your colleagues are still doing high fives in the hallways when they gloat about how those guys pulled this one off way back in 1990.

So, just for the record, Tony, I voted for Alex Taylor, the People’s Party of Canada candidate. I encourage all of my former denizens in The Falls to do the same. If you weren’t so close to Nicholson, and if you weren’t a Hill and Knowlton hack, you would have had my vote. I don’t know anything about this Alex Taylor guy, but with a bio like yours, I’d sooner vote for Paul Bernardo. At least he only killed three people. Millions of people have died thanks Hill and Knowlton.

Absentee ballot for Alex Taylor, People’s Party of Canada candidate in Niagara Falls, Ontario. The election will be held October 21, 2019
