August 20, 2007. When the Quebec Provincial Police sent armed state agents to cause trouble at a protest and start a riot. Until then, we thought cops behaving like that were some kind of “conspiracy theory.”
Hi, David. First of all, we all hope you’re feeling better. Gard did a great job again today as he always does. I hope you don’t mind me borrowing your Patriot music for a video I put up.
It brings us back to 2007 when the Quebec Provincial Police (QPP) sent officers to a protest taking place at a summit between Canadian prime minister Stephen Harper, Mexican president Felipe Calderon and George W. Bush.
The cops – all wearing masks before mask-wearing was fashionable – picked up rocks and tried to start a riot. The union president leading the protest called them out, saying “you’re all (fornicating) cops!”
The video has been out for 16 years, but I added some contemporary elements to it, using your advice to try and stay away from these things and at least recognize the cops (or feds, in our case) when we can.
I did my little part to promote your program, David. We’ll see how long it stays up on YouTube, mind you it’s on Rumble, too.
Anyway, best wishes as always for a quick and full recovery. Our love to all of you.
p.s. sorry for the bad words in the original video.
An exploding population of hard-to-eradicate “super pigs” in Canada is threatening to spill south of the border, and northern states like Minnesota, North Dakota and Montana are taking steps to stop the invasion.
In Canada, the wild pigs roaming Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba pose a new threat.
Ryan Brook, a professor at the University of Saskatchewan and one of Canada’s leading authorities on the problem, calls feral swine, “the most invasive animal on the planet” and “an ecological train wreck.”
They are often crossbreeds that combine the survival skills of wild Eurasian boar with the size and high fertility of domestic swine to create what Brook describes as a “superpig” that’s spreading out of control.
An online advertisement purporting to offer sex with minors was viewed a disturbing 6,678 times in just four days, with over 600 responses from potential clients, Durham Regional Police said in a release on Thursday.
Police said Project Firebird is “an on-going initiative that focuses on individuals interested in purchasing sexual services from persons under 18 years of age, as well as providing education and support to victims or potential victims.”
The Human Trafficking Unit published the ad “to create the illusion that individuals can purchase sexual services from minors.”
Investigators arrested five people and laid 15 charges in connection to the probe.
Driving my non-Lynx bus behind a Lynx transit bus (Route 19, fleet no. 46, tag no. YT220) eastbound along Gore Street. As it approaches Rio Grande, the driver is unable to complete a lane change and stop with part of the front end crossing the yellow line and encroaching into the oncoming lane. He (she or it, who knows these days?) changes lanes mid-intersection.
Then, the next block at South Orange Blossom Trail, with a city works truck WITH UNPLATED TRAILER in the left lane encroaching into the right lane, the Lynx driver chooses to get up alongside it anyway and ends up cutting across the sidewalk to make a right turn.
Just wait until they make it into the cockpit at Delta and United.
They power everything – from cell phones and scooters to electric cars – but a News 6 investigation reveals there are no state regulations for safely storing lithium-ion batteries.
The batteries have a history of overheating while charging and catching fire.
In January, investigators blamed a lithium-ion battery for catching fire inside a garbage truck in Seminole County, destroying the vehicle.
In July, a man died after a Tesla crashed on SR-417 and caught fire.
In New York, four people were killed when an e-bike repair shop erupted in flames in February.
Investigators determined all of these fires were caused by lithium-ion batteries. @DavidKnightShow
