Remembering San Francisco as it used to be. Full of liberal fruitcakes for sure. But still, a charming city. With vibrant restaurants and stores. Lots of tourists. And, basically, just a nice place.

And don’t forget, you’d have to go back 60 years, but even Detroit was once a nice place.
